PAN Base is a database and portal where you will find professional working talents, co-workers and collaborators within the audiovisual fields. PAN Base is focused on ethnic minorities, national minorities and indigenous people, LGBTQ+ or disabled people working behind the camera or in the audiovisual industries.
We are here to diversify and make better representation of minorities in the audiovisual industries. In PAN Base you can broaden your network, find the right match for you, your company, or project and contribute to create a more diversified industry.
We will also publish articles concerning our main objectives and do portrait interviews with monthly highlighted and selected profiles.
PAN Base criteria for being represented on the platform is that you identify with and belong to one or more of these groups: Ethnic minorities, national minorities and indigenous people, LGBTQ+ or disabled. Professionally, you must have at least a bachelor's degree or other higher education. If you do not have a degree within your field, you can alternatively refer to at least three professional productions that have been shown publicly (Cinema, TV, streaming services, museum or galleries). Pan Base is founded and run by Anicca Pictures with support from Viken Filmsenter.
