Biography

Hamid Waheed is a filmmaker, visual artist and writer from Oslo, Norway. He has a BFA in Moving Images from Nordland kunst- of filmhøyskole and is currently pursuing a master's degree at Kunstakademiet i Oslo. Whilst his primary background is in directing/writing films, many projects overlap several disciplines and are presented in cinemas, galleries, theatres and other contexts. Works have been shown in a number of places, including Kunstnernes Hus Kino (Oslo), Nikolaj Kunsthal (Copenhagen), BiT Teatergarasjen (Bergen) and Rencontres Internationales Paris.
